What is Sukiyaki?
Sukiyaki is a unique Japanese dish that was first introduced in the Meiji Era (1868~), when meat-eating culture was spread.
Wagyu, vegetables, tofu, and other ingredients are stewed in a pot with warishita, a sweet and spicy sauce, to create its delicious flavor.
It is a popular cuisine to enjoy with loved ones during special occasions.
Recommended way to eat
Thinly sliced, marbled wagyu is stewed in a sweet and spicy sauce to bring out its delicious flavor as the texture melts in your mouth.
It is delicious on its own, but in Japan, it is traditionally eaten by dipping into a fresh-beaten raw egg.
The rich flavor of the warishita, combined with the mellowness of the egg gives the dish a deeper taste.
